New Delhi, 11 January (NNS): The offtake of cumin reported to be sluggish even after the recent decrement. As a result, here, cumin prices held stable at Rs 31000 per quintal. Recently, the prices have gone down by Rs 500 per quintal. There were around 2000 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha and the prices dropped down by Rs 50 per 20 kg. The active contract went up by Rs 580 or 1.84 percent to Rs 32100 per quintal due to the increased buying from the speculators. There is no possibility of uptrend in the spot cumin prices during the coming days.
