New Delhi, 12 January (NNS): Here, the prices of cumin went down by Rs 1000 to Rs 30000 per quintal because of the feeble offtake even after the decrement in the prices. Recently, the prices have gone down by Rs 2000 per quintal. There were around 2000 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha and the prices declined by Rs 100 per 20 kg. The active contract fell down by Rs 1870 or 5.99 percent to Rs 29135 per quintal because of the all-round speculative buying. There is no possibility of uptrend in the spot cumin prices during the coming one or two days.
