New Delhi, 29 January (NNS): Here, the prices of red chilli 334 no. held firm at Rs 23500 per quintal because of the sluggish buying from the stockists even after the weak prices. Recently, the prices have gone down by Rs 1000 per quintal. There were around 90000/95000 bags of red chilli reported to arrive in Guntur and the prices held stable at the level of the previous day. The market sentiments may affect because of the increased arrival pressure. There is no possibility of more downtrend in the spot red chilli prices during the coming days.
