New Delhi, 02 February (NNS): The prices of coriander held firm at Rs 8200 per quintal owing to the sluggish offtake at the higher level. Recently, the prices have gone up by Rs 100 per quintal. Around 3500 bags of coriander including 20/25 bags reported to arrive in the Ramganj mandi and the prices remained stable at the level of the previous day. The active contract went up by Rs 30 or 0.38 percent to Rs 7825 per quintal owing to the feeble speculative buying. The market sentiments may affect due to the constant arrival of the new stock. There is no possibility of more uptrend in the spot coriander prices during the near future.
