New Delhi, 09 February (NNS): The prices of turmeric Erode gatha asitis slipped by Rs 300 to Rs 13800 per quintal owing to the sluggish buying from the stockists at the higher level. Recently, the prices have gone up by Rs 200 per quintal. There were around 4000 bags of turmeric reported to arrive in Erode and the prices held stable at the level of the previous day. The active contract dropped down by Rs 72 o0 0.47 percent to Rs 15358 per quintal because of the feeble speculative buying. There is no possibility of uptrend in the spot turmeric prices during the coming one or two days.
