New Delhi, 12 February (NNS): Here, coriander badami prices went down by Rs 200 to Rs 7900 per quintal due to the sluggish buying from the stockists even after the feeble prices. Before this, the prices have gone down by Rs 100 per quintal. There were around 3000 bags of coriander including 1000/1200 bags reported to arrive in Erode and the prices dropped down by Rs 100 per quintal. The active contract slipped by Rs 210 or 2.71 percent to Rs 7550 per quintal due to the strong speculative buying. The market sentiments may affect as the new crop is in the good condition. There is no possibility of more downtrend in the spot coriander prices during the coming days.
