New Delhi, 19 February (NNS): The prices of cumin improved by Rs 100 to Rs 27400 per quintal owing to the limited buying from the stockists even after the feeble prices. After this, the prices have gone down by Rs 300 per quintal. There were around 12000 bags and the prices rose by Rs 50 per 20 kg. The active contract went up by Rs 220 or 0.87 percent to Rs 25600 per quintal because of the increased speculative buying. The spot cumin prices may show improvement in the spot cumin prices during the coming days.
