New Delhi, 20 February (NNS): The arrivals of cumin rose to 14000 bags in Unjha. The new stock has also been started arriving in the markets. In Unjha, its prices rose by Rs 50 per 20 kg because of the strong support of buying after the higher arrivals than the normal level. Here also, its prices rose by Rs 300 to Rs 27700 per quintal due to the strong buying. During the previous day, the prices have gone up by Rs 100/200 per quintal. The active contract jumped by Rs 1400 or 5.44 percent to Rs 27145 per quintal due to the increased all-round speculative selling. It is expected that the prices may show uptrend during the coming days.
