New Delhi, 21 February (NNS): Today, the stock of cumin has also been started arriving constantly in Unjha. Presently, around 17000/18000 bags of cumin reported to arrive in this market and the prices went up by Rs 50/100 per 20 kg. Here, the prices of cumin held stable at Rs 27700 per quintal owing to the sluggish buying at the higher level. During the previous day, the prices have gone up by Rs 300/400 per quintal. The active contract went up by Rs 245 or 0.90 percent to Rs 26970 per quintal because of the strong speculative buying. The spot cumin prices will likely to remain strong during the coming one or two days.
