New Delhi, 21 February (NNS): Around 3100 bags of turmeric reported to arrive in Erode and the prices held stable at the level of the previous day. Here also, the prices of turmeric erode gatha asitis remained firm at Rs 13500 per quintal. Recently, the prices have gone down by Rs 300 per quintal. The active contract slipped by Rs 102 or 0.66 percent to Rs 15470 per quintal because of the sluggish speculative buying. The spot turmeric prices will likely to remain higher during the near future.
