New Delhi, 26 February (NNS): The prices of cumin fell down by Rs 200 to Rs 27200 per quintal. Before this, the prices have gone down by Rs 500 per quintal. There were about 38000 bags of cumin reported to arrive in erode and the priced declined by Rs 50/100 per 20 kg. The active contract dropped down by Rs 275 or 1.05 percent to Rs 25940 per quintal because of the sluggish speculative buying. The spot cumin prices will not likely to increase during the coming days.
