New Delhi, 26 February (NNS): The prices of red chilli jumped by Rs 1000 to Rs 24500 per quintal due to the increased buying even after the higher arrivals in Guntur. Before this, the prices have gone down by Rs 500 per quintal. There were around 1.25 lakh bags of red chilli reported to arrive in Guntur and the prices held stable at the level of the previous day. The spot red chilli prices will likely to remain strong during the coming days.
