New Delhi, 26 February (NNS): The prices of turmeric erode gatha asitis gained by Rs 100 to Rs 13500 per quintal because of the limited support of buying after the sluggish prices. Recently, the prices have gone up by Rs 200 per quintal. There were around 3000 bags of turmeric reported to arrive in Erode and the prices held stable at the level of the previous day. The active contract went up by Rs 338 or 2.21 percent to Rs 15640 per quintal because of the strong speculative buying, due to this, the market sentiments may affect. The prices of turmeric may show nominal uptrend during the coming days.
