New Delhi, 28 February (NNS): Today, the arrivals of cumin dropped down to 30000/32000 bags in Unjha after the recent decrement of Rs 500 per quintal. Its wholesale prices dropped down by 50/100 per 20 kg owing to the sluggish buying even after the feeble arrivals than the normal level. In contrary to this, cumin prices went up by Rs 300 Rs 26800 per quintal because of the increased buying. The active contract rose byRs 180 or 0.75 percent to Rs 24300 per quintal owing to the limited support of buying from the speculators. There is no possibility of long uptrend in the spot cumin prices during the coming one or two days.
