New Delhi, 04 March (NNS): There was heavy rainfall in most of the producing areas of Rajasthan and Gujarat during the previous week, due to this reason, the crop of coriander reported to be affected in most fof the areas. After this, here, the prices of coriander badami slipped by Rs 100 to Rs 8000 per quintal owing to the sluggish buying from the stockists. There were around 7000 bags of coriander reported to arrive in the Ramganj mandi and the prices went up by Rs 300/400 per quintal. The active contract jumped by Rs 214 or 2.67 percent to Rs 8240 per quintal due to the strong speculative buying. There is a possibility of temporary uptrend in the spot coriander prices during the coming one or two days.
