New Delhi, 04 March (NNS): The prices of turmeric erode gatha asitis jumped by Rs 1300 to Rs 14800 per quintal due to the strong buying from the stockists even after the feeble prices. There were around 3500 bags of turmeric reported to arrive in Erode and the prices held stable at the level of the previous day. The active contract ascended by Rs 714 or 4.21 percent to Rs 17668 per quintal because of the all-round speculative buying, due to this, the market sentiments may affect. The spot turmeric prices will likely to remain strong during the coming days.
