New Delhi, 11 March (NNS): There were around 50000/52000 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha and the prices remained stable at the level of the previous day. During the previous week, the prices of cumin ascended by Rs 1300 to Rs 28800 per quintal because of the increased buying. Before this, the prices have gone up by Rs 200/300 per quintal. The active contract jumped by Rs 1270 or 4.73 percent to Rs 28100 per quintal because of the all-round speculative buying, due to this, the market sentiments. The spot cumin prices will likely to remain high during the coming days.
