New Delhi, 22 march (NNS): The prices of turmeric Erode gatha asitis gained by Rs 100 to Rs 15700 per quintal due to the improved offtake at the higher level. During the previous day, the prices of dropped down by Rs 5500 per quintal. The active contract jumped by Rs 592 or 3.53 to Rs 17,350 per quintal because of the all-round speculative buying. The spot turmeric prices will likely to remain high during the coming one or two days.
