New Delhi, 30 March (NNS): The new crop of coconut powder has been started arriving in Orissa, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Southern parts of the country, due to which, the market showed heavy downfall. Presently, huge amount of old stock have already been sold out in the markets and the consumption seems high in Holi, on seeing these circumstances, there is no possibility of more downtrend in the prices at the current level. The prices of copra quoted down to Rs 105/125 per kg. Presently, The coconut powder of Rs 3700 per quintal will be profitable during the near future.
