New Delhi, 1 April (NNS):  The prices of coriander badami gained by Rs 100 to Rs 8500 per quintal due to the limited buying from the stockists even after the sluggish prices. Before this, the prices have gone down by Rs 200/300 per quintal. There is a holiday in the Ramganj mandi due to the march closing.  It is expected that the trading activities will likely to be normal from Wednesday. There were around 5000 bags of coriander reported to arrive in Baran mandi and the prices remained stable at the level of the previous day. The active contract ascended by Rs 136 or 1.79 percent to Rs 7744 per quintal due to the strong buying from the speculators. There is a possibility of temporary uptrend in the spot coriander prices during the coming days.
