New Delhi, 1 April (NNS):  The prices of turmeric erode gatha asitis dropped down by Rs 400 to Rs 15800 per quintal due to the sluggish buying from the stockists even after the sluggish buying from the stockists even after the feeble prices. There will be holiday in Erode mandi on 7 April due to the March closing. The active contract  dropped down by Rs 648 or 3.78 percent to Rs 16490 per quintal owing to the all-round speculative selling. The spot turmeric prices will likely to remain sluggish during the coming one or two days.
