New Delhi, 02 April (NNS): The arrivals of red chilli showed uptrend in the famous producing areas. There were around one lakh bags of red chilli reported to arrive in Guntur and the prices declined by Rs 500/1000 per quintal. Here, the prices of red chilli fatki aling with other qualities declined by Rs 500/2000 per quintal, but its 224 no. remained stable at Rs 22500 per quintal. Recently, the prices have decreased by Rs 2000 per quintal. The market sentiments may affect due to the arrival of inferior quality red chilli in the producing areas. There is no possibility of uptrend in the prices during the coming one or two days.
