New Delhi, 10 April (NNS): Here, cumin prices reduced by Rs 100 to Rs 26700 per quinal owing to the sluggish offtake at the feeble prices. During the previous day, the prices have gone down by Rs 200 per quintal. There were around 35000 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha and the prices went down by Rs 50/75 per 20 kg. There is a holiday in the contract market. The active contract slipped by Rs 385 or 1.61 percent to Rs 23550 per quintal owing to the sluggish speculative buying. The spot cumin prices will likely to remain high during the coming one or two days.
