New Delhi, 18 April (NNS): There is a lack of arrival pressure of small cardamom in Guatemala, due to this reason, the producers are taking less amount of stock at the auction centres from the markets of North India and the upcoming stock of small cardamom also reported to be weak. The trade should not be done at the higher level in the near future on seeing the quality and the arrivals in the markets. Presently, the prices rose by Rs 100 to Rs 1700/2400 per kg due to the higher demand. The arrivals decreased by 2 percent during the last three days at the auction centres, due to which, today, the prices went up by Rs 75/80 per kg. There is all-round buying seems constant in the markets and the weather seems favourable. Apart from this, the upcoming crop also seems unfavourable. The arrival of the crop seems feeble in Guatemala.
