New Delhi, 19 April (NNS): Here, cumin prices dropped down by Rs 500 to Rs 24500 per quintal owing to the sluggish offtake even after the feeble prices. There were around 22000/23000 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha and the prices rose by Rs 100 per 20 kg. The active contract ascended by Rs 685 or 2.98 percent to Rs 23700 per quintal owing to the strong speculative buying. There is a possibility of temporary break on downtrend in the spot cumin prices during the coming one or two days.
