New Delhi, 23 April (NNS): The prices of cumin remained stable at Rs 23500 per quintal due to the sluggish offtake even after the feeble prices. Recently, the prices have gone down by Rs 500 per quintal. There were around 16000/17000 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti and the prices went up by Rs 20/25 kg. The active contract went up by Rs 75 or 0.34 percent to Rs 22120 per quintal because of the limited speculative buying. The spot cumin prices may not show uptrend during the coming one or two days.
