New Delhi, 23 April (NNS): Today, the arrivals of small cardamom reported to be good in Mass Enterprises, Vandanmettu auction. There were around 91032 kg of small cardamom reported to arrive in the auction. The average auction price jumped to Rs 2006.50 per kg due to the strong buying even after the higher arrivals than the normal level. Before this, the prices were at Rs 1673.91 per kg in the last auction which held on 12 April. Here, the prices of small cardamom held stable at Rs 2000 per kg owing to the sluggish buying at the higher level. Recently, the prices have gone up by Rs 50 per kg. There is no possibility of more downtrend in the prices during the near future.
