New Delhi, 24 April (NNS): Here, the prices of cumin gained by Rs 100 to Rs 23600 per quintal owing to the nominal improvement in the prices at the sluggish prices. Recently, the prices have gone down by Rs 500 per quintal. There were around 16000/17000 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha and the prices rose by Rs 20/25 per 20 kg. The active contract ascended by Rs 385 or 1.73 percent to Rs 22610 per quintal owing to the strong speculative buying. The spot cumin prices will likely to remain strong during the coming one or two days.
