New Delhi, 25 April (NNS): The prices of cloves Madagascar remained stable at Rs 850/870 per kg. The new crop has been started arriving in Madagascar, but there is news of decrement in the crop, due to which, the prices may show more uptrend. There, the market showed heavy downfall due to the higher arrival pressure, but the prices may not show more decrement because of the higher prices of other countries rather than India. There is a lack of old stock in the markets and it is expected that the market may show uptrend anytime because of the increased demand on seeing the uptrend in the international markets. This year, the arrival of the stock seems feeble in Colombo because the stock has also been sold in the bordering areas along with Myanmar.
