New Delhi, 26 April (NNS): Here, cumin prices declined by Rs 100 to Rs 23500 per quintal owing to the sluggish offtake even at the higher level. Recently, the prices have gone up by Rs 100 per quintal. There was holiday in Unjha, but before this, around 16000/17000 bags of cumin reported to arrive and the prices went up by Rs 20/25 per 20 kg. The active contract ascended by Rs 70 or 0.31 percent to Rs 22735 per quintal owing to the limited speculative buying. The spot cumin prices will likely to remain strong during the coming one or two days.
