New Delhi, 26 April (NNS): Here, the prices of turmeric erode gatha asitis held stable at Rs 17600 per quintal owing to the strong sale even after the higher prices. During the previous day, the prices have gone up by Rs 300 per quintal. There were around 3200 bags of turmeric reported to arrive in Erode and the prices remained stable at the same level of the previous day. The active contract gained by Rs 178 or 0.93 percent to Rs 19260 per quintal owing to the increased speculative buying. The spot turmeric prices will likely to high during the near future.
