New Delhi, 02 May (NNS): The prices of cumin rose by Rs 800 to Rs 24300 per quintal due to the increased sale even after the higher prices. During the previous day, the prices have gone down by Rs 100 per quintal. There were around 20000/22000 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha and the prices gained by Rs 120/175 per 20 kg. The active contract jumped by Rs 1165 or 5 percent to Rs 24450 per quintal because of the all-round speculative buying, due to this, the market sentiments may affect. The spot cumin prices may not show more uptrend during the coming one or two days.
