
New Delhi, 08 May (NNS): Cumin prices rose by Rs 700 to Rs 25500 per quintal due to the strong sale at the higher level. During the previous day, the prices have gone up by Rs 200/300 per quintal. There was holiday in Unjha due to the elections, before this, around 20000 bags of cumin reported to arrive and the prices rose by Rs 50/150 per quintal during the previous day. The active contract jumped by Rs 1225 or 4.89 percent to Rs 26285 per quintal owing to the all-round speculative buying. There is no possibility of more uptrend in the prices during the coming days.
