New Delhi, 14 May (NNS): The prices of cumin jumped by Rs 1000 to Rs 27800 per quintal owing to the strong sale at the higher level. During the previous day, the prices have gone up in the same ratio. There were around 28000/30000 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha and the prices jumped by Rs 400 per 20 kg. The active contract rose by Rs 1125 or 3.99 percent to Rs 29325 per quintal owing to the all-round speculative buying, due to this, the market sentiments may affect. The spot cumin prices may not show more uptrend during the coming one or two days.
