New Delhi, 11 July (NNS): Here, the prices of turmeric held stable at Rs 15800 per quintal owning to the feeble offtake at the higher level. During the previous day, the prices have gone up by Rs 100 per quintal. There were around 3200 bags of turmeric reported to arrive in Erode and the prices remained stable at the same level during the previous day. The active contract prices eased by Rs 182 or 1.13 percent to Rs 15930 per quintal because of the feeble speculative buying. There is no possibility of more downtrend in the spot turmeric prices during the near future.
