New Delhi, 15 July (NNS): Here, the prices of turmeric erode gatha asitis declined by Rs 300 to Rs 15600 per quintal owing to the weak buying from the stockists even after the feeble prices. Before this, the prices have gone down in the same ratio. There were around 600 bags of turmeric reported to arrive in Erode on seeing its unattractive prices and the prices held stable at the level of the previous day. The active contract prices dropped down by Rs 168 or 1.05 percent to Rs 15758 per quintal because of the weak speculative buying. The spot turmeric prices will likely to improve during the coming days.
