New Delhi, 28 May (NNS): The market of turmeric seems feeble due to the constant selling from the speculators during the previous week. Today, here, the market remained close with the strong trend owing to the again speculative buying. Here, the turmeric of the year 2024 have been quoted up by Rs 140 per kg. In the evening, its prices have been ruling at Rs 139 per kg. There, the sowing of the vegetables reported to be high and the farmers have sown other spices. Presently, the prices of turmeric improved by Rs 4 per kg owing to the lack of rupee in the contract markets for the delivery in the first week of June.
