New Delhi, 04 June (NNS): The prices of turmeric erode gatha asitis held stable at Rs 14200 per quintal owing to the weak offtake at the lower level. Recently, the prices have gone down by Rs 200/300 per quintal. There were around 8000 bags of turmeric reported to arrive in erode and the prices held stable at the same level of the previous day. The active contract prices rose by Rs 1.97 or Rs 272 to Rs 14050 per quintal, due to this, the market sentiments may affect. The spot turmeric prices may show nominal improvement in the spot turmeric prices during the coming days.
