New Delhi, 16 June (NNS): Here, cumin prices fell down by Rs 700 to Rs 22000 per quintal owing to the weak buying from the stockists even after the feeble prices. Recently, the prices have gone down by Rs 200/300 per quintal. There were around 8000/10000 bags of turmeric reported to arrive and the prices reduced by Rs 40 per 20 kg. The active contract prices dropped down by Rs 425 or 2.15 percent to Rs 19060 per quintal owing to the constant speculative buying. The market sentiments may affect because of the lack of buying from the exporters. There is no possibility of more downfall in the spot cumin prices during the coming days.
