New Delhi, 26 June (NNS): The arrivals of small cardamom ascended to 32562 kg in the Idukki District Traditional Cardamom Company Limited. Here, the average auction prices jumped to Rs 2624.73 per kg owing to the strong buying even after the higher arrivals than the normal level. Before this, the prices were at Rs 2496.03 per kg which held on 17th June. Here, the prices of small cardamom 7.5mm remained firm at Rs 2500 per kg because of the sluggish buying at the higher level. Recently, the prices have gone up by Rs 100 per quintal. There is no possibility of more downfall in the spot small cardamom prices during the near future.
