New Delhi, 14 July (NNS): During the previous week, here, the prices of turmeric erode gatha asitis went up by Rs 100 to Rs 13600 per quintal owing to the limited buying from the stockists at the improved prices. Recently, the prices have gone up in the same ratio. However, its prices reached to Rs 13700 per quintal. There were around 1700/1800 bags of turmeric reported to arrive in erode and the prices held stable at the same level of the previous day.  The active contract prices dropped down by 0.61 percent to Rs 13430 per quintal due to the weak speculative buying, due to this, the market sentiments may affect. There is no possibility of long uptrend in the spot turmeric prices during the previous day.
