New Delhi, 15 July (NNS): Here, the prices of cumin held firm at Rs 21500 per quintal owing to the sluggish sale even after the feeble prices. Recently, the prices have gone down by Rs 100 per quintal. There were around 5000/7000 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha and the prices held stable at the same level of the previous day in Kochi. The active contract prices declined by Rs 45 or 0.23 percent to Rs 19415 per quintal because of the weak speculative buying, due to this, the market sentiments may affect. The prices of cumin may not show uptrend in the spot cumin prices during the coming days.
