New Delhi, 30 July (NNS): The prices of big cardamom Kainchicut softened by Rs 10 to Rs 1530 per kg due to the weak offtake even after the feeble prices. Recently, the prices have gone down by Rs 30 per kg. The average auction prices reported to be at Rs 1250//1812.50 per kg in the last auction which held on 12th June. The new crop of big cardamom will likely to arrive after 20/25 days, due to this, the market sentiments may affect. There is no possibility of more uptrend in the prices during the coming days.
