New Delhi, 19 August (NNS): Today, the arrivals of small cardamom ascended to 79351 kg in the CPMC auction. Its average auction price dropped down to Rs 2420.30 per kg because of the lack of buying even after the higher arrivals than the normal level. Before this, the prices were at Rs 2545.41 per kg in the last auction which held on 07th August. Here, the prices of small cardamom 7.5 mm remained stable at Rs 2500 per kg because of the sluggish offtake even after the feeble prices. Recently, the prices have gone down by Rs 100 per quintal. There is no possibility of more uptrend in the spot small cardamom prices during the near future.
