New Delhi, 22 August (NNS): The prices of turmeric erode gatha asitis held stable at Rs 13200 per quintal owing to the sluggish sale at the higher prices. Recently, the prices have gone up by Rs 100/200 per quintal. There were around 7000 bags of turmeric reported to arrive in erode and the prices held stable at the same level of the previous day. The active contract prices went up by Rs 40 or 0.30 percent to Rs 13366 per quintal due to the limited speculative buying. The spot turmeric prices will likely to remain stable at the same level during the coming days.
