New Delhi, 28 August (NNS): Here, the prices of cumin slipped by Rs 200 to Rs 20800 per quintal owing to the weak offtake even after the feeble prices. Recently, the prices have gone down by Rs 200 per quintal. There were around 9000/10000 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha and the prices declined by Rs 20/25 per 20 kg. The active contract prices went down by Rs 155 or 0.80 percent to Rs 19310 per quintal because of the weak speculative buying. The market sentiments may affect because of weak export. The spot cumin prices will likely to remain high during the coming days.
