New Delhi, 28 August (NNS): The sale of red chilli reported to be weak even after the higher prices. As a result, here, the prices of red chilli 334 no. remained firm at Rs 16000 per quintal. Recently, the prices have gone up by Rs 500 per quintal. There were around 40000 bags of red chilli reported to arrive in Guntur and the prices rose by Rs 500/2000 per quintal, due to this, the market sentiments may affect. The spot red chilli prices will not likely to decrease during the coming days.
