New Delhi, 19 September (NNS): The prices of cumin remained stable at Rs 20800 per quintal because of the sluggish offtake even after the improved prices. Recently, the prices have improved by Rs 100 per quintal. There were around 16000/17000 bags of cumin reported to arrive in Unjha and the prices held stable at the same level of the previous day. The active contract prices rose by Rs 75 or 0.39 percent to Rs 19555 per quintal because of the limited speculative selling. The spot cumin prices will likely to remain sluggish during the coming one or two days.
