New Delhi, 07 October (NNS): The buying of red chilli reported to be sluggish at the higher prices. As a result, here, the prices of red chilli 334 no. remained firm at Rs 16500 per quintal. Recently, the prices have gone up by Rs 500 per quintal. There were around 50000/52000 bags of red chilli reported to arrive in Guntur and the prices remained firm at the same level of the previous day. The market sentiments may affect because of the ongoing festival season. The spot red chilli prices will likely to remain strong during the coming days.
