New Delhi, 03 November (NNS): The prices of cumin jumped by Rs 400 to Rs 20700 per quintal owing to the strong buying from the stockists at the higher level. Recently, the prices have gone up by Rs 300 per quintal. There were around 15000/16000 bags of cumin reported to arrive and the prices jumped by Rs 40/75 per kg in Unjha. The active contract prices went up by Rs 225 or 1.12 percent to Rs 20400 per quintal owing to the strong speculative buying. The spot cumin prices will likely to remain strong during the coming one or two days.
